Looks like Idol Chat judge J. Cantu will have to continue his vigil against the madness that is Sanjaya Malakar’s run on American Idol — much to his wife’s disdain, he’ll be wearing THE SAME CLOTHES for yet another week straight. As Gina Glocksen found out tonight, even a passable performance isn’t good enough this year.
RIP, Gina. I. Am. Appalled. I guess great legs (Haley) and awesome hair extensions (Haley and Sanjaya) is all you need to succeed.
Speaking of Sanjaya, I must say I’m disappointed in him. I had begun to look forward to the insanity, and this week he was just so … blah. Without the LOOKATMEEEEE!!!! factor, he is hideously nondescript. We want our little freak back, yes we do. Where are they with my Preciousssss? We wantsss him back!
As for Gina, she has a really lovely voice that needs a little work, but it’s all there. She has great style. She knows who she is and is unafraid of it. She has personality and fabulous stage presence. I’d like to hear more from her in future. Can we say the same about Haley?
I just don’t get Blake. Never did, never will. Even channeling his inner Bobby Darin didn’t work for me. Nice voice, totally forgettable.

Does America know what a Rock Star really is anymore? In my opinion Gina had that “it” factor but, I guess were not really going for talent this year. It’s gonna be the great legs and freak show factor!!!!! Melinda has a great voice but i’m getting tired of her humility. I hope Lakisha wins.
I hope they soon get rid of Sanjaya .I think the young kids are keeping him in .They should realize this is a singing competition
